Conclusion:

  • Monochrome: Quaderno A5, cheapest, great writing experience, many limitations but works on PDF & battery lasts for weeks
  • Color: Boox Note Air 3
    • Concern: battery run out faster. Not for weeks but only 1 waking day (14.28 h)Reddit: What's the battery life looking like on the Note Air 3 C?NA3C at 100, 30 and 0% front light with battery life being 8.33h, 14.28h and 14.28h respectively.
      While the NA2+ 100, 50 and 0% front light with battery life being 17h, 50h and 80h respectively.
      The longest time on the NA3C is less than the shortest time on the NA2+
      colour devices have a dedicated GPU consuming power.

      For Air3 C, you can expect a full day or even two days use unless you use it like 8 hours non stop.
      Note air 3 c: refresh the screen and burns the battery.
      bigme inknote 6 vs na3c: inknote lasts a lot longer
      wanted: Boox to add a software toggle to turn Super Refresh on/off so you can have longer battery life if you want.

      Personal note: Bigme is much heavier

      • basically: Note Air with bigger storage, keyboard option, rear camera (for scanning, but not so good scanning result)
      • battery seems to run out faster too
