Switching to Mac : HEIC Image Format

I had problem when I uploaded my photos to WordPress. Apparently by iPhone is currently using HEIC as its default image format.
The HEIC format has benefit of smaller file size for the same quality of picture, however, you may run into compatibility problem when you're using other system.

While there are some WordPress plugin that offer support for this HEIC, apparently, this option will greatly vary on the hosting provider, as described in the reference article, "The HEIC to JPEG plugin relies on the ImageMagick PHP module. HEIC support was added in version 7.0.8-26 of the module.".

Solution:
On your Mac, open the image using Preview. Click File > Export, then export to JPG.
